Leaves 133 Descendants

Mrs.
Julia Holden, who died in a Tacoma nursing home yesterday at the age of
98, left 133 living descendants.
A
native of Camp Mills, N.Y., she had been a resident of Tacoma since
1908. She was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Her
home was at 1613 East 31st St. before she entered the nursing home last
March.
Her
133 survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Orrilla Laurence of Tacoma and
Mrs. Ella Malcolm of Wilmington, Calif., 19 grandchildren, 60
great-grandchildren, and 57 great-great grandchildren. Another
daughter was the late Mrs. Flora Martin of Tacoma.

Great-Great-Grandchildren
- Mrs. Julia Holden, of 1613 East 31st St., celebrated her 98th birthday
with the good wishes of 115 living descendants. She is shown, just
before cutting her 98th birthday cake, with her daughter, Mrs. Orrilla
Lawrence, with whom she makes her home; granddaughter, Mrs. James Baker
of Auburn; great-granddaughter, Mrs. Casper Youngchild of Fife; and,
representing her 51 great-great-grandchildren, little Colleen Youngchild.
Mrs. Holden, widow of Myron Holden, was born in Camp Mills, N.Y., in
1857 and came to the Summit district with her family in 1908. And
Colleen? She was born in November - 1953, that is - News Tribune
