David married Jane on December 25, 1777, in Southborough. Orlin lists 8 children. Of these eight, six have births recorded in the Vital Records of Southborough. "Lois" or "Lowis" is known only from a death record: "Fay, Lowis, d. David, June 17, 1791. C.R." I do not believe that she was born in January of 1791. Her birth would be followed too closely by the birth of Nancy, which IS recorded in the Vital Records. IF Lowis is indeed the daughter of David and Jane, then I suspect her birth was earlier. I have no idea why it wasn't recorded; except that often things weren't. Such is also the case with Mehitable, who is not found in the births; but here we have record of her marriage ("Mitte") and we can track her in the census records. Hannah, on the other hand, appears in the Vital Records of births, and in the marriage records, but is not to be found later.
Only Lincoln's line is continued in Orlin. I am now in the process of researching and posting the other lines. David and Rhoda's line is finished, as is Nancy and Moses Eames' line. The other lines are in various stages of completion.
