Clayton H. Wellsted Jr.,age 69, of Gladwin died August 4,
2004 at home following a long illness. |
|
He was born in Flint, October 24, 1934 to Clayton Sr. and
Erma (Howell) Wellsted. |
|
Clayton was the owner/operator of Reliable Asphalt in Flint.
He resided in Gladwin for three years. He was a member of
the Grand Blanc Heritage Baptist Church. He was
predeceased by his wives, Shirley in 1968 and Diane in
2001. |

Clayton is survived by five sons, Keith(Andra) Wellsted of
Cheboygan, Rick Wellsted and Ron Wellsted both of
Gladwin, Robert Wellsted of Ohio, Don Wellsted of Midland;
four daughters, Disiree(Paul) Londrigan of Goodrich,
Deborah(Jerry) Demory of Luther, Darla Wellsted of
Gladwin, Deanna Wellsted of Flint; 25 grandchildren and 4
Great grandchildren; brothers, Marvin(Pauline) Wellsted of
Taylor, Richard(Deidra) Wellsted of Chatanooga
Tennessee, sister, Jeanette (Jerry) Clark of Montrose,
several family, nieces,nephews and friends. |

He is predeceased by wife Shirley; wife Diane; sister,
Genetta Wills; daughter, Sue Donaldson; and grandson,
Jared Brunner. |

Funeral services were held August 7, 2004 at Hall Funeral
Home, Gladwin with Andrew Rhind officiating. Burial was in
Flint Memorial Park.
