Martha Long says the following regarding the two sketches below of the Joshua Brown/Charlotte Morris clan. Notice that they give different places of origin for Joshua. Kathy Wells seems to think Maryland is correct:

       It came out of the "Commemorative Biographical Encyclopedia of
       'The Juniata Valley, comprising the Counties of Huntingdon, Mifflin,
       Juniata, and Perry, Pennsylvania'"  published by J. M. Runk & Co of
       Chanbersburg, Pa in 1897.

       There are 2 sketches of interest.  Joshua Brown, Selea, Huntingdon
       Cty with info about his father Caleb and grandfather Joshua native of
       Lancaster County, Pa married to Charlotte Morrison.

       Another sketch of Hiram Brown, Meadow Gap, Huntingdon Cty with
       info about his parests, John and Annie (Wagner) Brown and his
       grandfather Joshua Brown, native of Maryland, married to Charlotte
       Morris.
