Met and after praise and prayer 1st Brother Thomas Hill, Jr., appointed to write a letter for this church to the next association and present it at the next meeting for the inspection of the church.
2nd Brethren Thomas Hill, John Hopkins, and Thomas Hill, Jr., chosen messengers to the next association.
3rd A request from Lick Branch Church calling for the ordination
Thomas Hill Jr. taken up and the church agree to attend to the ordination at their next meeting and the clerk to write to Graham�s Fork, Scaffold Lick, White River and Lick Branch Churches for the requesting ministerial aid and counsel and brethren appointed to bear the same.(to wit) to Graham�s Fork Brother Nathan ROBINSON; to Scaffold Lick, brother Joshua FOWLER; to White River Jesse JOHNSON, to Lick Branch, Brother Balaam LETT. Adjourned until the first Saturday in August next.

The Church met pursuant to adjournment and after praise and prayer proceeded to business. 1st The letter to the association called for, read, and received. 2nd The reference respecting the ordination of Thomas Hill, Jr., taken up and the helps from sister churches appeared and took their seats (to wit) from Graham Fork, John RANDOL and Isaac HALL; from Scaffold Lick, Valentine CHASTEEN and Felix Monroe; from White River Elders Alexander CHAMBEZE, William BLANKENSHIP, and Brethren Jacob L. RYKER, Michael MONROE, Samuel TILFORD, and Abraham SMOCK; from Lick Branch, William WHITESITT, Richard M. Cosby, and Archibald COSBY and Elder Jesse VAWTER being present was invited to a seat in counsel. 4th On motion and second agreed the counsel that Elder Jesse VAWTER act as moderator and Brother Abraham SMOCK act as clerk of the Council. Council retired and held counsel and with the church unanimously agree to go into the ordination of Brother Thos. Hill, Jr., whereupon came the presbytery (to wit) Elders Jesse VAWTER, Alexander CHAMBERS, Thomas HILL, Senr, and William BLANKENSHIP and proceeded to the ordination by prayer the laying on of hands a change and the right hand of fellowship he is therefore set apart to the work of an ordained minister of the Gospel of Christ. Adjourned.
