On 29 May 1835, Edward bought 143.28 acres for $1.25 in Fulton
Co., Twp 8N Range
4E Section SW Federal sale record #288882 (BLM).
March 29, 1858, Fulton County, IL Circuit Court case #475.3:
EDWARD THURMAN
and son Raphys (Rufus), were both summoned to appear in court to
answer a
complaint filed by Aron H Bryant , Rebecca Bryant and William
Bryant for
threats of violence against them. Later dropped against EDWARD.

which he applied for veteran's benefits as a result of being
wounded
