2. ii. WILLIAM C. FREELAND, b. 1826, Indiana.

Generation No. 2

2. WILLIAM C.2 FREELAND (JOHNATHAN1) was born 1826 in Indiana. He married SALLY STRICKLAND 12 Nov 1846 in Bartholomew County, IN, daughter of WILLIAM STRICKLAND and LAURA UNKNOWN. She was born 1825 in North Carolina.

Notes for WILLIAM C. FREELAND: Came to the conclusion that William and Sally were Levi's parents from the 1850 IN census. Checked all FREELAND's in 1850 IN census. This is the only one that list a son age1 and names begins with L(can't read the rest) also the states in which they were born match Levi's other census reports.

There is a possibility that Levi's parents were W.A. and Sarah Freeland from Knox Co, IN. There is an Alexander L age 5/12 listed. But the states W.A. and Sarah were born in don't match.
