Dear Eric,

Your Fleet Website looks good - especially if you are a Fleet!

You may want to consider adding a section on common words in the English language that rhyme with Fleet, i.e. beat, beet, cheat, eat, greet, heat, meat, meet, neat, seat, sheet, sleet, suite, sweet, treat, wheat, athlete, street, compete, conceit, concrete, deceit, defeat, elite, obsolete, conceit, petite, heat, receipt, mesquite, secrete, - just to name a few. I am sure once you got into the swing of things, you could think of many others, You might even have a further section where you define each of those words and show in a simple sentence how they could be used with the name Fleet. You might even contemplate making a crossword puzzle in which you have forty or more words that rhyme with fleet all coming off the center word, Fleet!

Oh well, I am sure you are full of ideas! Besides, I like your website just like it is! Especially the part of wishing your wife a happy 7th wedding anniversary!

Please keep this discrete, Dr. Rob Finley.

Eric,

I received your correction. You have done a magnificent job with the Fleet family. I am very proud it is on net...

I think I told you before, I have been to Fleet's Bay. I took a picture of a fishing wharf that is called Fleet's Wharf. It is about 100 years old.

I appreciate all your work and research. THANK YOU!!!!

Eric,

Took a quick look at your web page, I presume you downloaded the gedcom files from my web page.

Very interested!!!

Would be interested to have a gedcom of your info. I use parsons family tree.

Would like to try and piece your info together and see if it helps me find some of my people. Was about to give up!!

Hi, Eric. Yes, that is something my aunt & I would have enjoyed.

The census I sent you that had FLEETs/KINGs is interesting. The girl who recently wrote you, the one I am helping to start her on her research, Leah {[email protected] }, well, she had told me she is kinned to the FLEETs from VA, {Alexander Frederick "Fred" Fleet {Sr.}, back to William Flete {d. 1383}. She is also kin to some KINGs. And some of her ancestors went by the middle name of FLEET, {Susan FLEET Clark, James FLEET Clark}. Some of her relatives were IN Missouri. {That's where my FLEET kids were: Alice, Delia "Dillie" Ann, & Eli Allen Fleet.

I know there IS a connection with my Fleets, probably to the VA., Fleets, & probably to Leah's Fleets. I'm just gonna keep trying. I started this about a year ago. I spend about 6-9 hours a day, doing research. I am a VERY SERIOUS researcher.

Well, take care, & I just want to say thank you!!!! for having your website. You have done a MAGNIFICENT job with it.

Billie Michele Waters

P.S. My aunt lives in OK., & I live in TX.

Hi Eric...

I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed your site. I have learned in the JUST 2 DAYS I have been at this how much your site has helped me!! I have filled in so much of what my mother couldn't get (@25 years ago). Additionally, I have run into "Billie Waters" and have learned a lot and made what I would consider a friend...maybe, in the long run, a cousin or something!!

More importantly, I'd like to offer kudos to you...I have been able to find, verify, question and confirm so much! I am going to forward the discrepancies I have for your own information...although your stuff is most likely correct...but, just for your archives...

Thanks so much Eric...it's been fun...AND...you have a beautiful family!!
