Notes:

Cluster One: Deduced Ancestral Haplotype of MacNeils of Barra, Buie's of Jura and the Olive formerly Black Sub-Group of MacDonald who have a TMRCA of 1400 - 1500 AD to each other (18 confirmed R-L165)

Cluster Two: Deduced Ancestral Haplotype of 59 MacLeods and 4 McKinney/Childress, 2 Ross's, 1 Gallie, 3 McNeills, and 1 McGirt who a TMRCA of between 1400 and 1700 to the MacLeod Haplotype (26 confirmed R-L165)

Brunson: Deduced Ancestral Haplotype of four genetically related kits (1 confirmed R-L165)

Beall: Deduced Ancestral Haplotype of 12 known Beall Haplotypes (4 confirmed R - L165)

Terril: Deduced Ancestral Haplotype of 15 known Terril Haplotypes (7 confirmed R-L165)

Ayton: Deduced Ancestral Haplotype of two Ayton Cousins (both confirmed R-L165)

Hammer, Greenwald and Haag are individuals with no close genetic matches to date (confirmed R-L165)

Mayberry: Haplotype of one of five Mayberry haplotypes (unable to access others to obtain Ancestral Haplotype at this time - invitations sent) (1 confirmed R-L165)

Note: The Deduced Ancestral Haplotypes on this page are derived from the results of the members of the L165 Project AND their known genetic matches (not yet members of the project). The emerging L165 Modal shown here will be different than what would be derived using just the members of the L165 Project because of the additional information we gain regarding each ancestral haplotype WHICH IS DETERMINED from using all known genetic matches.
