Do you need a good genealogy software program? Let me recommend BROTHER'S KEEPER, a nice program which has been used by many hobbyists and professionals in the genealogy field for many years. Evaluation copies of both the DOS and the WINDOWS shareware versions are available for downloading at their site after clicking on this link.

Do you need a good viewer software program? Let me recommend ACDSee, a nice program that you can use to view photos of your loved ones after you have scanned the pictures and saved them in image format for computer viewing. An evaluation copy of the shareware version of ACDSee for Windows is available for downloading at their site after clicking on this link.

Let's Chat! I like to communicate. And chatting on the internet is an excellent way for family members to stay in contact with each other. Some of us have been using ICQ. This program works much like AOL Instant Messenger, which AOL has graciously made available to everyone, including those of us who are not AOL users. But after evaluating both programs, my preference is ICQ. You can download ICQ at the Mirabilis website by clicking here.

Or, we can meet at the Infoseek Genealogy Chat Room. You can go there and sign on as a guest. Then find the Hobbies and Interests Plaza and go to the 'genealogy' link. Follow the links, and when you get there, look for me. If I'm there, you can recognize me by the family crest. Some day I hope to have a Chat Room right here on this website. It would be accessible only by password and only members of our family would be allowed to join. But, as I intend for this project to grow anyway, that's one of the things that we can look forward to later. Right now, let's just use ICQ and the Infoseek Genealogy Chat Room to chat with each other.
