Cornelius Alexander McElroy [Parents] was born 1822. He died 25 Nov 1858 in Monroe, Orange county, NY. Cornelius married Sarah A X.

 
Lil's Note: I placed Cornelius here because he remained in OC. I do not believe this Cornelius is of the James line that went to Ohio. I believe these Ohio folk are from James brother(or possible brother) to Alexander

William:  b ca 15 Feb 1817, d 4 Mar 1888, m by Justice of Peace in Patterson NJ, Jane Starr. He was 18, she was 17. she died 7 Aug 1893, age 77 years. She was born 12 Jan 1816.(Predmore file OCGS) (no cemetery stone. No proof of parentage of this william per Elizabeth S. Smith)

Alexander and Sarah each lived 5 years town of Monroe. I assigned him to James. No proof of parentage
 
Lil's Note: I do not think Alexander belngs here. Nor does he belong in the elder James family.  The elder James would have to be 71 when he was born. Unlikely I think.

Sarah Titus was born 10 Feb 1814. She died 1891. Sarah married Alexander Mcelroy.


George McMunn was born 1803. He married Charlotte McElroy.

Charlotte McElroy [Parents] was born 1828. She married George McMunn.

According to a Martha McMunn we have the following information from her online Mcelroy genforum message #1699. Charlotte McElroy, born Monroe Co., NY 1828 to James McElroy. Was her mother an Ashman? First married to George McMunn and lived in Orange co., Ny probably at his death about 1867. Six children born to this union; Sarah Cheeks, Adelia Edwards, Annie Corwin, George C. McMunn, Samuel W. McMunn and Frank V. McMunn. Second marriage to Shubal W. Bouton, four children; and third husband was James Pratt, no children. Siblings were Theodore McElroy and Mary Eilenberge

Ann Stevens, daughter of Jonathan Jr., born November 1, 1806, married the Rev. Thomas Witsel.  Their family consisted of her niece, Jane Ann, daughter of Daniel, and an adopted daughter, Harriet Elizabeth Stevens, 1838-1924.


Donovan Frederick [Parents] was born 1909 in Kenmare, Ward Co, North Dakota, USA. He married Hazel Mellon.

Dutch was an accountant for 35 years, working for Montana-Dakota Utilties and for the Armour Meat Company.  Hazel worked for Montomery-Ward and for ModoDay as a ready-to-wear sales person.  She also worked for the Gimble Store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dutch lived at 1882 Woodstock Circle NW, Salem, Oregon 97304-1223.

Hazel Mellon was born 1 Mar 1907 in Kenmare, Ward Co, North Dakota, USA. She died Sep 1993 in Salem, Marion Co, Oregon, USA. Hazel married Donovan Frederick.

Fred Ray Hanson [Parents] was born 15 Jan 1956 in Daniels Memorial Hospital, Scobey, Daniels Co, Montana, USA. He married Karen Olson.

Fred was a wheat farmer on the family farm south of Flaxville, Montana (on the former homestead of Samuel W. Frederick, Fred Ray's maternal g-grandfather). According to Fred Ray, the economics of modern-day farming forced him to sell the farm.
 Fred and Karen are now the owner/operator of the Homestead Inn motel in Wolf Point.  Fred continues his hobby making horse-drawn covered wagons, which he hopes to develop into a production business.

Karen Olson was born Oct 1954 in Medicine Lake, Sheridan Co, Montana, USA. She married Fred Ray Hanson.
