TIMOTHY McCARTHY (1851-1886) Son
of Bartley McCarthy & Catherine Hyland
MARY BURNS (1855- ) (Parents Unknown)
Children
Timothy (1878- ) (Moved to California ??)
Little information is available about Timothy and his wife. Timothy was
apparently born out east and came to Lakeville with his parents. He was married
in 1876. His wife's last name was Burns but she does not appear to have been
related to any of the other Burns/Byrnes families in the area and may have
been living in St. Paul prior to her marriage. Some time in 1882, this Timothy
moved to West St. Paul where he was a partner in establishing a dry goods
store. Timothy however became ill soon after and is said to have moved his
family to California for health reasons. He died in Los Angeles Cal. in 1886.
Timothy's body was brought back to Lakeville and buried in Hyland Cemetery.
Nothing is known about his wife and their only known child after this and
it is thought that they remained out west.

Patrick and his wife moved to the town of Donnelly MN shortly after their
