7. Emma (Emily) Benson3 Darling (Ezra2, David1) She was born 23 December 1837. She died on 30 September 1909 at Somerville, New Jersey. She married Isaac Brokaw at Somerville, New Jersey, on 15 January 1868. She is probably his second wife. It is believed that he was first married to Sarah Harris and had at least two children (William R. born about 1857 and Isaac born about Apr 1860) from that marriage.

Isaac was born on 23 February 1835 at Middlebush, New Jersey, and died at Somerville, New Jersey, on 16 February 1888. His widowed mother, Maria Brokaw (born about 1808 in New Jersey) lived with his family during the 1880 census. During the 1860, 1870 and 1880 census Isaac's occupation was listed as being a cabinet maker. In 1860 and 1870 he reported personal property worth $200 and $400 respectively.

During the 1900 census, Emma reported that six of her seven children were still living. Her children Milton, Minnie and Grace were living with her in 1900. Milton was working at a newstand in 1900. The month and year of birth recorded in the 1900 census records differ from those found in the Rockefeller records. The dates presented here are those of the Rockefeller publication.[8]

8. Mary Catherine3 Darling (Ezra2, David1) She was born 20 May 1841 in Seneca Co., New York. She married October 1879 to Ezra Chapman. Ezra was born about 1836 in New York. His occupation was recorded as blacksmith and farmer during the 1880 census. He died prior to the 1900 census, when his wife was listed as being a widow with her occupation as being a landlord. Ezra had two children by his first marriage (Ida born about 1863 in New York, Jenny born about 1873 in New York) who lived with Ezra and Mary during the 1880 census. [9]

9. Anthony Covert3 Darling (Ezra2, David1) He was born in Lodi, Seneca Co., New York, on 22 July 1843. He died 4 July 1929 and was buried in North Clinton Cemetery, Waterman, DeKalb Co., Illinois

He served in the Civil War with Company H, 102nd New York Volunteer Infantry. He first enlisted at Seneca Co., New York, on 15 January 1862, then re-enlisted on 30 January 1864, and served until 21 July 1865, when he was mustered out at Alexandria, Virginia. He participated in the battle of Cedar Mountain, 2nd Bull Run, Antietam, Gettsyburg and Chancellorsville. After his re-enlistment furlough, he re-joined his company at Stevenson, Alabama, participated in the taking of Atlanta, Georgia, and was a part of the army that marched with General Sherman to the sea.

He married Clara A. Wilcox on 26 December 1867 at LeRoy Township, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania. She was born in LeRoy Township in 8 May 1847, died on 5 February 1922, and was buried in North Clinton Cemetery, Waterman, DeKalb Co., Illinois.

During the 1870 U.S. census, the family was living in LeRoy Township, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania. Anthony's occupation was listed as a farmer and he was reported to have personal property worth $550. By 1880, the family had moved to Canton Township in Bradford Co. [10]

It is likely that George W. Bishop was the son of George Bishop (born about 1821 in New York) and his wife Mary Ann (born about 1819 in New York). George and Mary Ann Bishop's children Kate G. Bishop (died 17 Nov 1860, age 18 yrs, 3m, 4d) and Gilbert C. Bishop (born 1854, died 1915, married Frances L. Crawford - born 1858, died 1902) are buried in the same lot with George W.
