By auto Service we left for Ripley O. on Thursday at 8-30 AM, arrived at Ripley in the afternoon of May 27th at the Residence of Mrs. L. W. Drake. At 10 A.M. on Friday morning May 28th a short service was held, then taken to Maplewood Cemetery where she was placed in our lot near the old home place on the ground where the wedding was held, afterwards the home was sold to the City of Ripley as a new addition to the Maplewood Cemetery in the year of 1880."
