Betty (Sheppard Barnes) and Bill Gaddis on their farm at peanut harvest. This is the way I most remember my grandparents, laughing and with a great sense of humor. I would like to have known what they were so tickled about, probably posing for the picture. My grandfather refused to purchase a tractor, said it was cheaper to just feed the horses.....

If you have any information on this family, please contact us as we are at a dead-end on our grandfather Gaddis, although we do find more information on his brother, Benjamin Allen Gaddis.

My grandfather came to Dallas, Texas looking for work and for land in 1928, his brother remained in Tishomingo, Okla.
