This goes to show if you live on a farm, you will have your picture taken with anything. This old tree is still standing and I can see it just by looking out my back door:) We actually helped Dad and Granddad sometimes, more than likely just got in the way and they were too kind to tell us to go away:) Grandma would make cracklin's, much better than what you buy in the store.....helped grandma make her own lye soap........those were indeed the good ole days, but sure glad they are over and we can just buy our soap from the store.;)

Yours truly is in the middle, my cousin is on the left and my "happy" brother is on the right. Kids today miss a lot by not knowing their past.....would never trade life growing up next to my grandparents and living in the country for any convenience of others living in the city.....I even had a runt pig (the smallest of the litter and often neglected by the sow) as a "dog"....Jo
