Across
the Fence

Did
you notice the extra large number of “winners” in last weeks
Hamilton Herald-News? The encouraging thing about it was that many of
them were young people, even to Bobby Swinson who is very young at
heart.
The
Chamber of Commerce awards banquet recognized some who years ago laid a
foundation for us to build on. Then they recognized some of the ones who
are contributing to the success of our city and county now. Throughout
the paper were articles and pictures of our future citizens who will be
leading us later.
In
this world of troubles, it is a good spring tonic to see so many young
people doing their best.
Hamilton
County
has many winners who may never get their names or pictures in the paper,
but all will have a deep feeling of satisfaction when they lay down at
night in knowing they have done their best.
