COUNTY FARM CEMETERY
Some residents of the the County Farm
were buried in unmarked graves in the County Farm Cemetery. The
County Farm was about three miles southeast of Hamilton
-- between Hamilton and Blue
Ridge, and between FM 1241 and FM 932.
Those who lived at the County Farm
were indigent residents of Hamilton County, as well as for
older people who were no longer able to care for themselves. The County
Farm was closed about 1940. The cemetery was abandoned when the
County Farm closed. No markers remain in this cemetery.
