THE BOGANS
Bogan left the county and went to Arizona
and was running a saloon. A little scrubby fellow named Gann lived here,
went to Arizona and went into the saloon and recognized Bogan. For some
reason, or no reason, Bogan shot and killed
him. He was sentenced to hang but influence got it him of it. He also
killed a boy out there. Bogan had a brother, but it is not clear whether
his name was Dan or whether that was the name of the saloon man. Mr.
Williams did not recall the first name either of Bogan or of Chapman, who
it seems was but vaguely remembered.
