MILT AND HENRY GOODE

Milt and Henry Goode stayed around the Sol Barron country. They had been pretty bad fellows. The Milt Goode, who with Tom Ross, killed the cattle inspector in the hotel at Seminole in the notorious murder case, some twenty years before (in early twenties, I think) [1920's]

(The shooting took place in the hotel, shooting right over lawyer George Lockhart, whom I later knew well, of Lubbock. Believe venue was changed to Lubbock. Colonel Mullecan , then judge, years later told me there was so much feeling that I believe he said he had everyone coming into the courtroom disarmed.
