ENTERPRISE SCHOOL had seven grades in 1911. Enterprise School was about eleven miles southeast of Hamilton between Bethel Cemetery and the Coryell County Line. Mrs. Carrie Timmons was the teacher in 1915-1916.

Raymond Edwards, Brady Melton, Cecil Nix, Robert Fisher, Layton Nix, and L. C. Melton were members of an early basketball team.
