"Looking northeast on North Rice Avenue (U. S. 281).  Water was 61 inches deep at the highway sign, and was much deeper to left of picture."

 

Hamilton National Bank is the large  building in the background of the picture.  

The first location (which I remember) of the Hamilton Public Library was in the section of the bank building behind the floating car.
