The Old Hico School had seven
grades in 1911. In 1924-25 Miss Jerry Pittman was the teacher of
this school whose school board consisted of O. E. Whitson, W. A.
Stubblefield, and Mattie
(Brazill) Segrist taught in this school before 1922.
The Old Hico School was used for
church services on Sundays.
