WILLIAM F. TAYLOR --1897

Mr. Taylor came to Hamilton in 1881 from Weimer, South Texas. He lived in a house between Pecan Creek and the railroad, where the Lee Parrish Service Station now stands. [East Main Street–east of the Cotton Belt Railroad Depot.] Mr. Taylor was in the livery and hardware business here.

Two of his sons, Chas. and Lee are still living in Hamilton. Chas. is city secretary, and Les is in the undertaking business. J. D. Taylor of New Mexico is another son, and Mrs. John Jones of Fort Worth is a daughter.
