O. C. WARENSKJOLD --1897

O. C. Warenskjold, pronounced Vanshaw, a Norwegian, was born in Van Zandt County in 1851. In 1889 he came to Hamilton and settled on the north bank of the Leon. In 1891 he sold out his sheep interests and entered the mercantile business with Sparkman Bros. He was later elected constable, and served in that capacity for many years.
