Stringtown Baptist Church was organized in 1875 at King in Coryell
County. On 7 September, 1883, Stringtown was admitted to Hamilton
County Baptist Association. This church was dismissed by letter
on 19 August, 1892, and continues to be active as King Baptist Church in
the Coryell Baptist Association.
