The Willow Grove School was in the Ageecommunity west of Agee Baptist
Church near the Twin Mountains
and approximately ten miles northeast of Hamilton. The school was
built in 1889 and was given the name because of a grove of willows growing
near by. Willow Grove School had seven grades in 1911. In 1924-25 Miss
Clara Anglin and Miss Mattie Anglin were the Willow Grove
teachers and J. C. Sills, B. F. Driver, and H. R. Blakely
were on the school board.
