HENRY FULLER

Henry Fuller killed a man by the name of Nichols or Nicholson at Old Hico. E. J. Davis was then Governor and G. W. White [George Walker White] is not sure but what he was the first man tried in Hamilton County and was pardoned by Davis, or he might have been tried in Coryell County, but he thinks it was Hamilton. Nichols' or Nicholson's widow was later married to Scott Bullard.

[George Walker White, son of John S. White, often helped escort district judges into and out of Hamilton during the 1870 when there was little regard for the law in Hamilton County.]
