Felix
Cadmus Williams was born 17 February, 1861, in Marlin, Falls County,
Texas. and died in Hamilton in 1951. Felix
Cadmus Williams was married to Frances "Fanny" Murphree on
20 December, 1893, by W. B. McKeon, Minister of the Gospel, Methodist
Episcopal Church-South. Mr.
Williams was Deputy Sheriff under Sam
D. Terry in 1884-1885. He served as deputy County Clerk in
1886-1887 under his uncle, T. C. Pierson. Mr. Williams was
appointed postmaster of
Hamilton on 16 June, 1893, and served until 12 June,1898. From 1898
through 1902 Mr. Williams was County Clerk of Hamilton County. Mr.
Williams was in the the furniture and undertaking business from 1904 until
1915 when he established an insurance business. These interviews
were written on his business letterhead stationery. [Editorial
