Davis was the husband of William's daughter, Bettie Green; Walter Sneed had married 2 of William's granddaughters: Mary Frances Green (dau/of James Thomas Green & Pennie Copeland) and then Sallie Bett Alston (dau/of Sallie Eliza Green & Lovett Alston). Harrison & Charles Alston were Sallie Bett's brothers; Amanda, Sallie Eliza, Bettie E.,  Pilot, Jim/James Thomas & William Alex Green were William's children.
