Welcome to Cartophilia Cartophilia is a non-profit site devoted to the presentation of  High Resolution images of  English and Welsh  maps from their beginnings to the early 20th Century. At present it contains over 3500 images, free to download and intended  for academic, educational, genealogical, and local history purposes. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 New Zealand License.
