Martha Avis

Martha Avis is the daughter of Robert Avis and Martha Darke.  According to other researchers, she was born about 1778 and died about 1830.  She married Joseph Johnson Lancaster in 1801.  I am working on finding information on this family.

Other researchers have Martha dying in 1830 and Joseph dying in 1845.  I only know of one child, though I suspect the other Lancaster's in St. Clair County are likely related.
