Susan Avis

     Susan Avis is the daughter of Robert Avis and Rachel McCormick.  She was born abt. 1811 in Jefferson County, (W)VA.  She married James Copeland on 28 April 1831 in Fredericktown, Maryland.  According to Ellen Avis in 1871, Susan Copeland had been living in New York as late as 1869.  I am trying to locate census records.
