As to my other question, Tabitha Taylor Kahn was admitted "by Christian experience" to the Green River Missionary Baptist Church about 1848. She died about 1851, according to the same biography, with a birth date of about 1829. Were the children raised Jewish? Was Abraham baptized? 1

When Tabitha Taylor was a young girl, she and her mother went into Abe Kahn's store at Cromwell, Ky. Abe took an interest in the girl, giving her material for a dress at the time. He kept in touch with them and later married Tabitha. When she was pregnant with her fourth child, she was killed in a runaway horse and buggy accident, baby being killed also.1 |
