| According to infromation given to me by John D.Smith. Lucinda and William J. were twins, children of William Prevatte Taylor and wife #2, Lucinda Bennett. John and his wife ,Mary Knight, did much research on the Taylor family, particularly William Prevatte Taylor, since he was Mary's ancester. Also the 1870 Choctow County, MS census lists William J. and Lucinda, both age 15, among the children of William P. Taylor. At that time he was married to Wilmouth Ann Hurt, wife #3. In the notes of Col. Noble Taylor, he say that there were reports of a 2d set of twins among the 17 children of Wm. Prevatte Taylor. We are missing some birth years;William and Lucinda are the only set identified. Julia20 |
