GREGORY
The Gregory
family worked their way through Derbyshire to Glossop.
Earlier
generations were farmers and lead miners in the Great/Little Hucklow
area before settling at Taddington to farm. My great-grandfather
moved first to Edale then to Glossop; as a child I was often told how
the family walked their animals to Woolley Farm from Knowl Farm at
Edale. Gregorys still farm in the Glossop area today.
