HAMBLETON
The HAMBLETONs worked in the textile industry and came to Glossop from the Mellor area of Derbyshire, which after moving to Cheshire is now a part of Stockport in Greater Manchester.
My Great-grandfather was born in Glossop after his family moved here in 1850; his descendents moved to other parts of Britain and emigrated to New Zealand and Canada.
I have many PR transcriptions for Glossop and Mellor churches, but so far only a few are online, (at the resource page).
