Nease Cemetery is located in Howell County in Missouri, just north of Willow Springs on county road 1070. The location is in section 18, township 27N, range 9W of Howell County.
This cemetery is still accepting burials.
In April of 2002 a tornado tore through Nease Cemetery and the surrounding area. Although several markers were reportedly knocked over, it appears that none were destroyed or lost. Most of the mature trees which had grown in the cemetery were lost in the storm, however. Other than the damage resulting from the tornado, the cemetery is in good shape and is well-maintained.
A small, abandoned church sits just to the north of the cemetery. The tornado picked up the entire building, rotated it several degrees, and set it back down a few feet from its original location.
