Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2), son of William Hussey (H7/10.3) and Phebe Hanson Hussey (H7/1.1), was born about 1769, probably at Dover, New Hampshire.  He was married about 1786 to Margaret Garland (G6/1.1) who was born September 3, 1768 in Lebanon, Maine.

Daniel Hussey, believed to be (H6/3.2), was enumerated as the head of a household in the l800 census of Strafford County, page 989.  The family was reported as:

Ezekiel Hussey (H5/2.1), son of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (G6/1.1), was born about 1787.  He was a resident of Rochester, New Hampshire when he was married December 7, 1815 to Mercy Horn (H5/1.1) of Rochester, according to "Vital Records of Dover, New Hampshire."  It is believed that they later lived in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Mercy Horn Hussey (H5/1.1), "widow," was married to John Bowen Sargent December 7, 1827, according to "Vital Records of Dover, New Hampshire."  She was admitted to First Church of Dover in September, 1824, and John Bowen Sargent was admitted September 6, 1842.   She died January 10, 1852.

John Bowen Sargent was remarried in October 1853 to Mrs. Esther Tilman, "a widow from Tamworth," who was admitted to First Church of Dover May 1, 1848.  John Bowen Sargent died June 3, 1864, at age 64.  Esther Tilman Sargent died September 12, 1871, at age 63.

He was married September 18, 1858 to Sarah S. Philbrick (P4/1.1) who was born in Nashua, according to "History of Canterbury, New Hampshire" by James Otis Lyford.

Ezekiel Hussey (H4/1.4), son of Ezekiel Hussey (H5/2.1) and Mercy Horn Hussey (H5/1.1), was born about 1826, probably in Nashua.  Ezekiel Hussey (H4/1.4), "son of John Bowen Sargent," was admitted to First Church of Dover March 5, 1843 and was dismissed to St. John Church, Lowell, Massachusetts January 1, 1847, according to "Vital Records of Dover, New Hampshire."

"George Washington, son of John Bowen Sargent," was admitted to First Church on the same date as Ezekiel Hussey (H4/1.4), according to "Vital Records of Dover, New Hampshire."  He was "dismissed to Raymond" December 29, 1859.

Hannah Hussey (H5/2.2), daughter of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (G6/1.1), was born about 1789, probably at Dover.  Of this individual nothing more is known.

Mary Hussey (H5/2.3), daughter of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (G6/1.1), was born about 1791, probably at Dover.  Of this individual nothing more is known.

Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4), son of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (G6/1.1), was born June 20, 1793 at Rochester, New Hampshire.  He was married November 1, 1819 to Mary "Polly" Hayes (H5/1.1) who was born in Rochester August 22, 1787 and baptized there November 15, 1789.  She was the daughter of Ichabod Hayes (H6/1.1), the granddaughter of Ichabod Hayes (H7/1.1), great-granddaughter of Ichabod Hayes (H8/1.1) and great-great-granddaughter of John Hayes (H9/1.1), according to "John Hayes of Dover, New Hampshire."

Mary "Polly" Hayes Hussey (H5/1.1) died January 15, 1849 in Rochester.  Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4) was remarried August 29, 1849 to Joan Flagg (F5/1.1) and continued to live in Rochester where he served as selectman, was a representative in the state legislature in 1834 and 1835 and was colonel in the militia.  Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4) died in Rochester January 25, 1863.

Charles William Hussey (H4/4.2), son of Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4) and Mary "Polly" Hayes Hussey (H5/1.1), was born January 10, 1823 in Rochester.  He was married about 1848 to Nancy Bickford Davis (D4/1.1) who was born January 6, 1826.  He died in Rochester September 24, 1888, and she died there December 18, 1895.

Mary Ann Hussey (H3/2.1), daughter of Charles William Hussey (H4/4.2) and Nancy Bickford Davis Hussey (D4/1.1), was born October 14, 1849 at Rochester.  She was married June 6, 1868 to Charles Hayes (H3/1.1).  Charles Hayes (H3/1.1) was born August 17, 1844 in Milton, New Hampshire.  He was employed in a shoe factory in Farmington, New Hampshire.  He was a selectman in Milton for eight years and was elected to the state legislature, according to "John Hayes of Dover, New Hampshire." She died May 2, 1874 and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Farmington.  No children were born to them.

Charles Edwin Hussey (H3/2.2), son of Charles William Hussey (H4/4.2) and Nancy Bickford Davis Hussey (D4/1.1), was born June 16, 1856 in Rochester.  He was graduated from Bates College in 1878 with an AB degree and received an MA degree in 1881.  He was employed as a school superintendent in New Hampshire and also in Newton, Natick, Wakefield and Reading, Massachusetts.  He was married December 25, 1884 to Carrie H. Wallace (W3/1.1), daughter of E. G. Wallace (W4/1.1) of Rochester. She was born February 26, 1862.  Charles Edwin Hussey (H3/2.2) became an officer in the U. S. Army during the Spanish-American War.  He died October 17, 1915 at Rochester.  In 1932 Carrie H. Wallace Hussey (W3/1.1) continued to live in Rochester.

Wallace Hussey (H2/2.1), son of Charles Edwin Hussey (H3/2.2) and Carrie H. Wallace Hussey (W3/1.1), was born October 27, 1885.  He was graduated from Harvard University about 1906.  In 1932 he remained unmarried.

Helen Marr Hussey (H2/2.2), daughter of Charles Edwin Hussey (H3/2.2) and Carrie H. Wallace Hussey (H3/1.1), was born October 6, 1887 in Rochester.  She was an accomplished violinist and was graduated from Wellesley College in 1909.  She was married November 29, 1913 to William H. Champlin (C2/1.1) of Rochester.  He operated an extensive lumber and box manufacturing business.  In 1935 she was state president of Garden Clubs of New Hampshire.

Elijah Martin Hussey (H4/4.3), son of Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4) and Mary "Polly" Hayes Hussey (H5/1.1), was born January 20, 1826 in Rochester.  He was graduated from Dartmouth College in 1852 and was married August 11, 1853 to Fannie Lucretia Woodward (W4/1.1), daughter of Stephen Woodward (W5/1.1) of Hanover, New Hampshire.  He was principal of Lebanon Academy, Lebanon, New Hampshire in 1852-53 and of Franklin Academy in Dover in l853-54.  He became a lawyer in Albany, New York in 1854 and moved his practice to New York City in 1859, according to "History of Rochester, New Hampshire."  He appeared in the 1871 edition of the New York city directory as a lawyer officing at 23 Chambers Street and living at 217 East 23rd.  He died there January 12, 1887.  Children born to Elijah Martin Hussey (H4/4.3) and Fannie Lucretia Woodward Hussey (W4/1.1) are unknown.

Rosina A. Hussey (H4/4.4), daughter of Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4) and Mary "Polly" Hayes Hussey (H5/1.1), was born February 13, 1849 in Rochester.  She was married April 13, 1854 to Silas Hussey (H4/1.5), son of Silas Hussey (H5/4.1) and Lucy Varney Hussey (V5/1.1).  They were second cousins, both having Paul Hussey (H7/10.1) as a common great-grandfather.

The life of Silas Hussey (H4/1.5) was described in "History of Dover, New Hampshire" by Franklin McDuffee and in "John Hayes of Dover, New Hampshire."  The following is an excerpt from "John Hayes of Dover, New Hampshire":

"Silas Hussey had an interesting and distinguished career.  Most of his life was engaged in filling contracts for granite construction in connection with the Central Pacific Railway; the foundations of buildings in his home town; the stone bridge over the Cocheco River; and the soldiers monument in the Rochester Park.  He spent several years in California at the time of the gold rush, going first by the Cape Horn route and later by the Isthmus of Panama.  He was a state legislator, justice of the peace for 46 years and state justice for 10 years."

Jonathan Jackson Hussey (H4/4.5), son of Jonathan Hussey (H5/2.4) and Mary "Polly" Hayes Hussey (H5/1.1), was born August 26, 1832 in Rochester.  He "died young," according to "John Hayes of Dover, New Hampshire."

David Hussey (H5/2.5), son of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (H6/1.1), was born about 1795, probably at Dover.  Of this individual nothing more is known.

Huldah Hussey (H5/2.6), daughter of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (H6/1.1), was born April 25, 1797, according to "Genealogical History of New Hampshire."  She was married March 21, 1824 to Benjamin E. Page (P5/1.1) of Rochester.  He was born there in 1792, according to "Abridged Compendium of American Genealogy."  He died in 1876, and she died August 20, 1879.

Olive Hussey (H5/2.7), daughter of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (H6/1.1), was born November 5, 1799, probably at Dover, New Hampshire.   She was married March 27, 1831 to Benjamin Furber (F5/2.1), son of William Furber (F6/3.2) and Alice Furber Furber (C6/1.1).  William Furber (F6/3.2) and Alice Furber Furber (F6/4.1) were first cousins, according to Elizabeth Anne Jones Waidelich (J1/1.1), a descendant of Hubbell, Michigan.

William Furber (F6/3.2), son of Deacon Benjamin Furber (F7/1.3) and Deborah Tibbetts Furber (T7/1.1), was born in 1778 and was married in 1799 to Alice Furber (F6/4.1). She was born in 1781 to General Richard Furber (F7/1.4) and Alice Coleman Furber (C7/1.1).  Deacon Benjamin Furber (F7/1.3) and General Richard Furber (F7/1.4) were sons of Ensign Richard Furber (F8/1.1) and Elizabeth Downing Furber (D8/1.1).  Ensign Richard Furber (F8/1.1) (born 1725, died 1807) was a son of William Furber (F9/1.1) and Sarah Nute Furber (N9/1.1)  William Furber (F9/1.1) (born 1672, died 1757) was a son of William Furber (F10/1.1) and Esther Starbuck Furber (S10/1.1).  William Furber (F10/1.1) (b1646, died 1712) was the son of William Furber (F11/1.1) and Elizabeth Clark Furber (C11/1.1).  William Furber (F11/1.1) was born in London in 1614 and was shipwrecked off the coast of Maine in 1635.  He died in Dover in 1692, according to Elizabeth Anne Jones Waidelich (J1/1.1).

Benjamin Furber (F5/2.1) went to Augusta, Georgia about 1855 as a master mechanic to work on the first railroad to be built between Augusta and Atlanta.  Olive Hussey Furber (H5/2.7) died at Somersworth October 4, 1871 and was buried in Forest Glade Cemetery there.  Benjamin Furber (F5/2.1) was remarried about 1783 to Sarah Brewster.

Elijah Hussey (H5/2.8), son of Daniel Hussey (H6/3.2) and Margaret Garland Hussey (H6/1.1), was born April 28, 1801.  He was married about 1825, wife's name Moore.  An Elijah Hussey, believed to be (H5/2.8) appeared as the head of a household in the 1840 census of Essex County, Massachusetts, Andover township, page 205.

Charles Lincoln Hussey (H3/2.5), son of George Dame Hussey (H4/9.2) and Mary Jane Foss Hussey (F4/1.1), was born August 18, 1870 in Rochester.  He was graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1892 and commissioned an ensign July 1, 1894 while serving aboard the USS Oregon.  He was married to Mrs. Harriett Brownson Tooker (B3/1.1) December 21, 1908.  During World War I he was commander of the USS Birmingham.  He was captain of the USS Idaho in 1920-21.  He retired as a rear admiral October 1, 1827 and died December 4, 1934 in Litchfield, Connecticut.

Louis McDuffee Hussey (H4/9.7), son of Paul Hussey (H5/2.9) and Nancy Colbath Hussey (C5/1.1), was born November 6, 1837 in Rochester.  He enlisted in Company B, First New Hampshire Infantry Regiment at the beginning of the Civil War.  He was the second soldier enlisted from Rochester, according to "Genealogical History of New Hampshire."  He was mustered in May 2, 1861 and served until August 9, 1861 when he was discharged.  He re-enlisted in Company A, Fourth New Hampshire Infantry Regiment and was made sergeant.  He enlisted September 18, 1861, re-enlisted January 1, 1864 and was mustered out August 23, 1865.  He participated in the battles of: Pocataligo, Morris Island, Seige of Wayne, Seige of Sumter, Bermuda Hundred, Drury's Bluff, Cold Harbor, Hatcher's Run, Seige of Petersburg, New Market Heights and Ft. Fisher.  He was promoted to first lieutenant of Company A November 9, 1864 and was made captain of Company C, Fourth New Hampshire Infantry Regiment February 7, 1865.

After his discharge from the army he worked in a shoe factory in Rochester until he retired.  He was the first marshal of Rochester when the town was incorporated.  He was married October 22, 1896 to Harriett E. Dame (D4/1.1) who was born in Rochester in 1843 and died there January 4, 1902.  Louis McDuffee Hussey (H4/9.7) continued to live in Rochester in 1908.  No children were born to them.

Walter Scott Hussey (H4/9.8), son of Paul Hussey (H5/2.9) and Nancy Colbath Hussey (C5/1.1), was born April 6, 1840 at Rochester.  He was married January 23, 1864 to Emily Pinkham (P4/1.1).  Emily Pinkham Hussey (P4/1.1) died May 13, 1891.  He was remarried November 27, 1893 to Addie F. Morrill (M4/1.1) who was born April 19, 1869.

Timothy Hussey (H7/10.6) and Elizabeth Hussey Hussey (H6/9.2) conveyed "Hussey Falls" and one acre of land on the Cocheco River to Isaac Wendell for the Dover Cotton Factory December 11, 1821, according to "Landmarks in Ancient Dover."

Timothy Hussey (H7/10.6) died February 21, 1824, and Elizabeth Hussey Hussey (H6/9.2) was appointed administratrix of his estate March 29, 1824.  She died January 28, 1830.  A portion of their real estate devolved upon Thomas Snell (S6/1.1), their son-in-law and Mary Elizabeth Hussey Snell (H6/6.2) June 8, 1830.

Simon Hussey, alias Anderson, "from Maryland," was indicted for stealing a mare from Charles Davis August 24, 1758 in Cumberland County.  He, along with Francis Pickering, pled "not guilty."  The jury who found Simon Hussey guilty of horse-stealing declared that "the prisoner has no goods, chattels, land or tenements."  Simon Hussey and Charles Davis were sentenced to hang on September 18, 1758, according to "Pennsylvnia Magazine."  Simon Hussey escaped hanging however because he was only 20 years old.
