    Elizabeth was dau/o of William MILLS & probably Amy ??? of Westfield Twp., Union Co., NJ. She was named in the will of Amy (???) MILLS, her believed mother. Jacob ROLL, her husband, owned the Grist Mill in New Providence, NJ for several years. After Elizabeth died he married #2 Nancy PICKETT, sold the mill and moved to Hamilton Co., OH. Later he removed to Clark Co., OH where he is buried at the New Carlisle Cemetery, Clark Co., OH. This gravestone is next to that of her husband's niece, Abbygil (ROLL) DUNHAM.

    Elizabeth is an ancestral paternal grandmother and ancestral maternal aunt of Audrey (MILLS+LEHMANN-CREAGER+SHIELDS) HANCOCK, as both parents descend from William (#1) & probably Amy (???) MILLS. Amy (???) MILLS is found on the rolls of the early records of the Scotch Plains Baptist Church. Her father is also said to have been buried in the the Church Cemetery.
