THENCE WITH SAME S15 E23 POLES TO A STAKE CHESTNUT HICKORY POINTERS CORNER TO A 260 ACRE SURVEY MADE BY S ARTERBERY THENCE WITH SAME N88 W CROSSING 2 HOLLORS 147 POLES TO A HICKORY AND SUGAR TREE ON THE TOP OF A RIDGE AT A PATH THENCE THE SAME N45 W22 POLES TO A STAKE IN A LINE OF 50 ACRES SURVEY MADE BY J. WM SPROWL AND HIS HEIRS FOREVER AND I. GRISSOM HIS WIFE TO WM SPROWL WAS ACKNOWLEDGED BEFORE J. K. HESTAND DEPUTY CLERK OF THE MONROE COUNTY COURT ON THE 3RD MARCH 1871 BY SAID GRANTORS TO BE THEIR ACT AND DEED. THE SAME IS DULY STAMPED AND CANCELLED HAVING ON IT A U. S. A. INTERNAL REVENUE STAMP OF THE DENOMINATION OF FIFTY CENTS.
