united in marriage to Richard Biddick April 5, 1850 in England, coming to Platteville, Wis., the same year, where
they lived until the spring of 1857, when they moved to a farm near Livingston,
now owned by their son Harry.
In the year 1895 they moved to the village of Livingston, where she resided
until her death, her husband preceeding her Sept. 17, 1910. To this union were
born thirteen children, four of who died in childhood, leaving five sons and
four daughters to mourn the loss of a loving mother - Thomas H. and Edwin A., of Montfort, Harlan H., Adolphus R., Harry E., Mrs. Wm. Andrew, Mrs. Wm. Peat, and Mrs. Almond Iverson of Livingston, and Mrs. Henry Fosbinder of Preston, besides one brother, J. P. Rundell of Platteville, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Biddick was
converted at the age of twelve and lived a consistent Christian until her
death. "She hath done what she could; She looketh well to her household and
eateth not the bread of idleness." She has left to her children a legacy rich
in itself of thrift, industry and the example of a righteous life.
