Edwin Addison Biddick was born near Platteville, 1855, and passed away at his home in Montfort Oct. 30, 1931, at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 29 days.

He moved with his parents, Richard and Ann Biddick, to Livingston, in 1857.

Feb. 23, 1880 he was united in marriage to Julia N. Fruit at Platteville.

To this union were born three children: A son, Clarence L., who preceeded him in death Aug. 11 1891, and two daughters, Mable, now Mrs. Homer Devoe, and Velma A., now Mrs. Vertice Addison. Mr. Biddick engaged in the pursuit of farming until March 1, 1901, when he with his family moved to Montfort where he and Mr. J. T. Biddick were engaged in the hardware business for a number of years.

Mr. and Mrs. Biddick observed their golden wedding anniversary, Feb. 23, 1930.

He united with the M. E. church during revival meetings held by Miss Hand and lived a Christian life since that time.

He was held in high esteem by all who knew him, was a devoted husband and a loving father.

For many years he was affiliated with the Masonic fraternity.

Mr. Biddick leaves to mourn his loss, a loving wife, two daughters, three grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers and a host of friends.

The funeral was held Sunday at the home at 1:30 conducted by Rev. L. E. Holsington of the M. E. church. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Interment in Hillcrest, the Masonic fraternity having charge of the last rites at the grave.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
Which can never be filled.
