William Walter Andrew was born Sept. 30, 1860, and died Feb. 3, 1914, aged 56 years, 4 months, and 2
days. He was married to Miss Laura A. Biddick April 3, 1882. To this union were born five children. William Richard, Walter Biddick, Alta Ferne, Edna Marie, and Frank Dale, Walter Biddick dying in infancy.
He spent his entire life in the immediate vicinity of Livingston and for many
years was an active member of the M. E. Church.
His illness was of very short duration and there seemed as a thunder bolt
coming from a clear sky but "God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to
perform."
Besides his wife, children, and more distant relatives and friends, he leaves
to mourn his loss six sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Chas. Mayer of
Lancaster, James of Wessington, S. D., Mrs. George Quillen of Jasper, Mo., Mrs. Dan Campbell of
Platteville, Mrs. Geo. Birkett of Cobb, George, John, and Mrs. W. M. Livingston of Livingston, and Mrs. John Luxmore of Bessemer,
Mich.
The funeral services were held at Rock Church, conducted by Rev. Kundert of
Platteville. Interment was made in Rock cemetery.
Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. George Quillen, and
son Edward of Jasper, Mo., Mrs. John Luxmore of Bessemer, Mich., son John and
wife of Elroy, Wis.
