Admiral Haddock of Georgia

Admiral & Selah (Nelson) Haddock's Descendants

Admiral Haddock may have removed to Jones County, Georgia sometime between 1810 and 1820. He was listed as Amon Haddock and paid taxes in Jones County, GA, in 1820 and 1824.

In 1830 and 1840 no Haddock families were listed in Wilkinson Co., GA, but in 1840 in Jones County, GA, Admiral was listed.

Admiral Haddock had 2 males under 5, 1 male 10 to 15, 1 male 15 to 20, 3 males 20 to 30, 1 male 30 to 40, 1 female 10 to 15, 2 females 20 to 30 He lived between Charles W. Eaton and John W. Brantly. [Research Note: It appears that Admiral had at least 7 sons. Counting the two married sons, the total of sons he had is likely 9 rather than 7 sons. It appears that he had 3 daughters, two are the only ones that have been accounted for.]
