Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude
M. Haddock, age 82, died at 5 PM, Sunday, April 21st at St. Vincent's
Hospital in Monett, MO, following a short illness.

Mrs. Haddock was born April 9, 1892 at Purdy. She had lived in Monett for the last 32 years. |
Burial was in , southeast of Monett, under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home Monett. | Survivors included three daughters, Mrs Della Harris, Rosemead, California, Mrs. Susie Lansdown, Neosho, and Mrs Juanita Pence, Carthage; four sons, Rev. Warren Haddock, Joplin, Norman Haddock, Pierce City, Gene Haddock, Lamar, Colorado and Aaron Haddock, Springfield, Colorado; two sisters, Mrs Lottie Douthitt, Anderson, MO. and Mrs Myrtle Carroll the State of California; 24 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. |
Services were at 2 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church, Monett. Rev. Grady Cockerham officiated. | Published in the Monett Times 1974 |

Mildred Lavern Haddock, 81, of
Monett, died at 5:10 a.m. today, November 18, at her home. |
She married Leslie Edward Haddock on March 23, 1939, in Southwest City, and he preceded her in death February 16 of this year. | Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 22, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery. | |
Mrs. Haddock was born February 28, 1923, in Delaware County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel J. and Rhonda Fae Williams Wayt. | Survivors include three daughters, Joanna Oganesyan, Gail Eaton and her husband, Curtis, and Kathy Cook and her husband, Steve, all of Monett; three sisters, Mittie Allen of Anaheim, California, Jewel Crawley of Jay, Oklahoma, and Dorotha Mulvaney of Monett; one brother, Carl Wayt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six sisters. |
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 21, at the funeral
home. |

Leslie Edward Haddock was born June 2, 1917, in Eagle Rock, the son of George R. and Rose Tucker Haddock. | Additional survivors include three daughters, Joanna Oganesyan, Gail Eaton and her husband, Curtis, and Kathy Cook and her husband, Steve, all of Monett; one brother, Francis Haddock of Aurora; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was retired from the Frisco railroad. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Monett where he had been a Sunday school teacher. He was also a bee-keeper and quail hunter. | Services will be 2 P.M. Thursday, February 19, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Dan Evans officiating. |
