YEARS OF AGE
Mrs. Anna Hall Taylor, 73, widow of the late Charles
O. Taylor, died at her home, 320 South Plum street, Friday, August 15, at 8:10 a.m. She had injured her hip in a fall several years ago and had been confined to her home most of the time since then.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Alton, a daughter of Oliver
and Sophia McIntosh Hall. Her husband, Chas. O. Taylor, who conducted the Taylor Chili Parlor for many years, died in 1946. Surviving are two sons, Edward Taylor Sr., of Carlinville; Willard Taylor, Alton; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Ilg, Mrs. Chas. Campbell and Mrs. Harry Dowell, all of St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. John Ryan, Carlinville.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from
the Heinz funeral home. Rev. William Stanley officiated. Burial was in the Carlinville city cemetery. The pall- bearers were Irvin Schum, Wood River; Carl Bloome and Chas. Uder, Carlinville; Jos. Arnoldi, Gillespie; Dr. Frank Ilg and Chas. Campbell, of St. Louis.
