1945 Ree Heights High School Commencement
and 8th Grade Graduation
Commencement exercises were held Thursday evening, May 17, 1945 with Rev. John A. Northrop of Centerville and former pastor of the Ree Heights Church, delivering the address in the City Auditorium.

Alice Jean Scott delivered the Salutory address and Lois Paine the Valedictory.  A piano solo was played by Betty Nicholas and the Girls' Sextette sang "Homing". 

Presentation of Classes was by Miss Graber and Supt. O'Neill and the awarding of diplomas was by M.H. Braden, President of the Board of Education. 

The five Seniors are Lois Paine, Alice Jean Scott, Ellen Beck, Kent Hammill and Delton Blake.

The eighth graders who graduate are:  Maxene Deuter, Betty Steele, LaVaun Stockman, Hoyt Nicholas, James O'Neill, Roy Mitchell, Wilbur McGee, Wilbert Renner and Junior Phinney.
