        County police said Mrs. Becker was driving south on the Dixie Highway when her car was struck by a speeding car driven by Neal Tukes, 42, of 203 S. Dixie Highway, Coral Gables.  Tukes, a Negro, was seriously injured but police said he would be charged with manslaughter

        Mrs. Jennie White, 70, who had been staying at 4515 Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables with Mrs. Becker, also was injured.

        Two Negro passengers in Tukes' car sustained only minor injuries.

                      And called our loved one home

                              whom we loved best.

         23rd Psalm

        The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.  He leadeth me beside the still waters.

        He restoreth my soul.  he ladeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.

        Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

        For Thou art with me.  Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

        Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

        Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Tell   City,   Dies

        TELL  CITY, Oct. 4 -- (Special) -- Colvin McMahan, 41, of Tell City, was crushed to death today as he attempted to start a balky bulldozer.

        The accident occurred about 12:45 p.m. while McMahan and Dick Gassaway, 38, also of Tell City, were clearing land on a farm recently bought by Jesse J. Dauby.  The farm is on Ind. 66 in Spencer Count [sic--County], 10 miles west of Tell City.

              A precious one from us has gone

                 A voice we loved is still;

              A place is vacant in our home

                 In which no one can fill.

.

              Sad and sudden was the call

                 Of one, we loved best of all;

              Happy, smiling, always content

                 Loved and respected wherever she went.

.

              So, to all, who have a mother

                 Cherish her with care,

              You will never know her value

                 `Till you see her vacant chair.

.

              Rest, Dear Mother, thy labor is o`er

                 They willing hands will toil no more.

              For God at last knew what was best

                 So he took you home with him to rest.

.

              Please god, take this message

                 To our Mother up above

              Just tell her how we miss her

                 And give her all our love.

                                                  Sadly missed by the Family
