There are several tombstones on the surface but cannot
be read. We are sure that there are more graves and markers here. There was a
Zonker schoolhouse next to the cemetery. The parents decided to turn over the
tombstones so that the children would not get hurt playing there. This
information is from a cousin of Chuck Zonker’s father
who attended school there.
